Nottingham Forest’s Jesse Lingard has taken his eagerness in esports to the next level by joining the ever-growing games metaverse platform Virtua. Jesse Lingard JLINGZ, which sells sports-inspired clothes and accessories in his native England, has its Web3 expansion ready to go soon.
Many gaming ideas and solutions that JLINGZ hopes to accomplish are a testament to the scope of what the esports operations, virtual spaces, and game development they want to focus on can achieve in the near future.
Virtua’s sporting events segment will highlight the platform’s growth now that they have secured a collaboration with JLINGZ. Furthermore, fans who want to participate in casual gaming sessions or NFT gaming tournaments can register their interest while also being able to cheer on their favorite teams from the metaverse esports league. And with Virtua opening up more opportunities for celebrities and brands to contribute to the overall excitement, soon marketers will be able to sell their merchandise and own digital rights to their content.
Virtua has already sealed partnerships with big names in the automotive and entertainment industries. It’s a deal done for American comedian Kevin Hart and Williams Racing to embrace the tech company. To kick start their first-ever partnership with a sports outfit, Virtua will supplement their metaverse offering with a ‘monster zone’ for the online gaming community. There’s also a sports zone, among other themed areas, for them to play in.
As a former Manchester United and West Ham United winger, Jesse Lingard earned a higher reputation in the football world by representing his national team on many occasions. Currently, JLINGZ fields a team in Rainbow Six Siege of Ubisoft. Alongside his gaming ventures, the pro footballer has also furthered his passion for esports by acquiring Audacity Esports.

JLINGZ’s network is expanding, including sponsorships with one of the most notable video streaming and sharing platforms, Recast. Since the most dedicated gamers need to update their wardrobe and game setup sometimes, the brand uses its official merch store for those fashionable products and offers Xbox gift cards.
In his comments on the partnership with JLINGZ, Jawad Ashraf, the CEO of Virtua, couldn’t contain his excitement, dubbing Lingard, a ‘Web3 enthusiast’ and declaring that the collaboration was a no-brainer.
On his part, Lingard has proclaimed the partnership a great opportunity to further push his brand by joining forces with Virtua to tap into the lucrative esports market and community of fans and gamers worldwide.
