Golf fans were practically drooling at the chance to witness Chase Koepka take to the tee box during LIV Golf’s party hole at the Grange Golf Club in Adelaide. The 12th edition of the party hole was intended to transform the venue into a place. There golfers can quench their thirst for a win and a refreshing drink. Hence they renamed it the Watering Hole. The atmosphere was positively electric, fueled by excitement and alcohol. Thanks to LIV Golf’s ingenious plan to create their version of the Stadium Hole.
The Grange LIV Golf Club in Adelaide, Australia and nailed a hole-in-one before being showered with water, beer and other liquids. With grandstands enveloping the tee box and course, each player brought their musical flare by showing off their walk-on tune of choice. As Koepka approached the 165-yard hole, the Smash GC captain was greeted with pure feverish ecstasy as countless golf fans packed the perimeter to watch and support each shot of the champion.
With laser-like precision, his ball descended and settled within inches of the pin, triggering a massive thunderous reaction from all fans. In a moment of sheer amazement, airborne beer cups, deafening screams, and celebratory jumping ensued as the crowd erupted with delight.
LIV Golf Champion
Koepka basked in the glory of victory alongside his superstar oldest sibling, Brooks, a four-time major-winning professional golfer, and recent LIV Golf Orlando champion. When talking about his winning shot, Koepka commented that after striking the ball, he had to admit it was a stroke of genius. He watched its pitch on the upslope and gently bounce. At that moment, Koepka changed his mind from thinking it would be slightly deep to thinking it would be close.
Then the roars grew louder as the ball reached the bottom of its bounce. The shot finally sank in, sending the entire crowd into a delirious frenzy. Projectile beer cups rained down on him for their hero’s accomplishment on the course. Just leaving him smelling like a victory beer-soaked mess for the rest of the day. It was all worth it for the epic and insane experience. According to Koepka, especially since doing it in such a hole would leave a lasting impression on the fans.
It was like he had his cheer squad following him around the course for the next few hours. Applauding every drive and swing he made. Koepka tasted sweet adoration akin to what Cam Smith must have felt all week during his epic performance.
Thousands of Australian supporters had gathered at the teeming Grange. They are eager to catch a glimpse of Cameron Smith and Ripper GC in action. Unfortunately, Smith’s performance left him tied for third place, trailing behind Talor Gooch by a not-so-small margin of four shots. Gooch’s impressive back-to-back rounds of 62 had given him a comfortable 10-shot lead. However, despite Gooch’s brilliance, his former team, 4 Aces, were the ones who triumphed in the tournament this time around.
