BetNow Review: Strong Sports Coverage, Weak U.S. Regulatory Protection

This BetNow review examines the operator’s terms updated June 3, 2026, current promotion pages, sportsbook rules and regulator notices. It does not treat marketing copy as proof that a payout will arrive on schedule.

Is BetNow licensed by a U.S. state regulator?
No. BetNow’s pages say the site is licensed and regulated in Anjouan, Union of Comoros, but DWZ did not find a license number in the reviewed pages or an entry through the regulator-site search used for this review. That makes the statement an operator claim, not independently confirmed license status.
More important for a U.S. reader, this is not a state-issued sportsbook license. The Michigan Gaming Control Board announced a cease-and-desist letter on February 24, 2025, describing BetNow as unlicensed in Michigan. Maryland’s regulator wrote BetNow on May 7, 2024 that it had no record of a Maryland sports-wagering or casino license and directed it to cease any unlicensed activity there. Those notices are concrete reasons not to repeat the old offshore cliché that a site is “legal in all 50 states.”
State laws and operator blocks can change. Check your regulator and BetNow’s current restrictions before registering. DWZ’s Texas betting-law coverage and Ohio regulatory news report developments; those links do not mean BetNow is available or permitted in either state.
What does the current BetNow welcome bonus require?
The banner says “up to 125%,” but that is not one universal cash bonus. It is a menu of codes. The least aggressive published cash options are WELCOME25 (25% cash) and crypto-only WELCOME30 (30% cash), each with 5x rollover, a $20 minimum deposit and a $2,500 maximum bonus. CASH100 advertises 100% cash, up to $2,000, with 25x rollover across sportsbook, racebook and casino. CASINO200 offers casino chips at 25x rollover.
Sports bettors also see PROMOBUCKS at 100% and 10x rollover, or crypto-only PROMOBUCK2 at 125% and 12x, each with a $20 minimum deposit and $2,500 maximum bonus. BetNow’s Promo Bucks explainer says those funds work only on sports, can be used on straight bets and regular two-, three- or four-team teasers, and permit prices only from +150 to -250. It also warns that Promo Bucks are zeroed out every year.
5x does not mean five times the bonus
BetNow’s own example starts with a $1,000 deposit plus a $250 WELCOME25 bonus. It calculates 5 × $1,250, producing $6,250 in required wagers before a payout request.
Higher headline, heavier turnover
On a hypothetical $1,000 crypto deposit, PROMOBUCK2 adds $1,250. If BetNow applies the same deposit-plus-bonus method, 12x would equal $27,000 in turnover. The promo page does not show that exact example, so confirm the displayed requirement before accepting.
The general terms add more friction: an active-account deposit or bonus has a one-time rollover; an unused bonus may be removed after 14 calendar days; playing both sides can lead to the bonus and balance being withheld; and the related review may take 72 hours to 180 days. A larger percentage is not automatically better. Read the checkout terms and save a copy.
Commercial link. Gambling involves risk. Offer terms and eligibility may change; verify the code, rollover and location rules before depositing.
How do BetNow deposits and withdrawals work?
The June 2026 terms list credit card, cash transfer, cryptocurrency, bank wire and Zelle deposits. Named crypto assets are Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Ethereum and USDT on ERC-20 or TRC-20. The same terms list cryptocurrency, ACH, bank draft, bank wire and cash payouts. That is more useful than the older help-center “About Us” list, which still names Neteller, MoneyGram and direct deposit; because the documents conflict, use the newer terms and the logged-in cashier as the controlling source.
Cryptocurrency
BetNow says crypto payouts have no operator transaction fee, are processed 24/7 and are typically credited within 24 hours. Network or wallet charges can still exist.
ACH, bank draft and bank wire
The published receipt window is up to five business days. ACH is described as U.S.-customer only. Bank drafts are listed as unavailable in New York, South Carolina and Washington.
Cash
The terms publish a receipt window of up to 48 hours and prohibit third-party payouts.
Verification and first payout
A valid ID is required before withdrawal processing. Credit-card users may need card copies; a utility bill is required for bank wires. New customers face a 30-day initial hold before their first payout.
BetNow expressly says payouts are handled case by case and its answers may not apply to every case. It also says non-crypto methods usually have fees, but does not publish fixed amounts in the reviewed terms. Those qualifications matter more than a “fast payout” headline. Readers who prefer digital assets can compare the mechanics in our crypto betting guide, not as a promise that crypto removes operator or price-volatility risk.
What sports and live-betting tools does BetNow publish?
BetNow’s help page names NFL, college football, college basketball, NBA, NHL, UFC, MLB, horse racing, soccer, tennis and golf. Its live sportsbook menu viewed during research also displayed major soccer competitions and event props. The separate in-play rules state a $500 limit, straight wagers only, internet-only placement and selected nationally televised games. For basketball, baseball and football, the page says lines may appear during commercial breaks; selected soccer lines may appear at halftime.
The broader rules publish a $100,000 maximum combined daily payout across winning bets, while also reserving the right to set wager limits before acceptance. A confirmed bet number is required. The terms allow BetNow to void an in-play wager placed within ten seconds before market suspension based on its server timestamp, with the stake returned.

Does BetNow work on mobile, and what support is available?
BetNow’s public pages render for phone-sized screens and the sportsbook says in-play bets are internet-only. DWZ did not verify a current native iOS or Android app; the `/mobile/` URL returned a 404 during research. Use the mobile website rather than trusting an old third-party app claim.
The operator’s help center advertises 24/7 live online customer service, telephone support and multilingual staff. Chat was visible on reviewed pages. That is a statement about availability, not a DWZ test of queue times or dispute handling. No support conversation was conducted for this article.
Which restrictions and account clauses should bettors notice?
- Age and local law: users must be at least 18 or the higher legal age in their jurisdiction. BetNow makes the customer responsible for checking local law.
- One account: registration details must be accurate and match payment accounts; proof of identity can be requested.
- Recreational-play standard: the terms say BetNow may limit, close or refuse accounts it considers non-recreational and include language allowing winnings to be forfeited.
- Bonus review: suspected bonus abuse can lead to denial, withholding or withdrawal of a promotion. Opposite-side betting may trigger a 72-hour-to-180-day review.
- Casino withdrawal cap: if casino winnings exceed $5,000 in 24 hours, the terms cap requested withdrawal at $5,000 per week and permit up to a 72-hour activity review.
- Responsible gambling: BetNow publishes a seven-day cooling-off option and self-exclusion for at least six months, requested through support.
These are operator-drafted clauses rather than a finding that any particular enforcement was fair. They do show why screenshots of balances, wagers, bonus selections and support exchanges can matter if a dispute develops.
What red flags appear in regulator and user reports?
The strongest red flags are the Michigan and Maryland actions, combined with the absence of U.S. state oversight. Consumer recourse is not the same as with a state licensee.
Trustpilot displayed a mixed picture on July 10, 2026: positive reports described successful or quick payouts, while several recent verified reviews alleged crypto waits of one to three days. Trustpilot itself says it does not fact-check individual reviews. A September 2025 TwoPlusTwo post alleged winnings were removed after BetNow cited “past posting”; DWZ could not inspect the account evidence or independently resolve that dispute. The binding terms do contain past-posting and live-market-void rules, so bettors should understand those clauses before live betting.
This is a reason for caution, not proof that every customer will have the same result. It also prevents us from calling the book a scam based only on anonymous reports.
Final verdict: Is BetNow worth using?
BetNow is a functional, broad offshore sportsbook, but it is not a low-risk substitute for a U.S.-licensed operator. The product case is straightforward: major leagues, live bets, posted rules, crypto banking and multiple bonus formats. The risk case is stronger than generic BetNow sportsbook review pages often admit: no state license, two regulator notices, a 30-day first-payout hold, deposit rollover and sweeping recreational-play and forfeiture language.
Readers who still consider it should choose a bonus only after calculating turnover, start with an amount they can afford to lose, preserve every term shown at deposit and confirm that both local law and BetNow’s restrictions permit participation. Our evidence-based rating is 5.0/10.
