How to Deposit Bitcoin on BetOnline in 2026 — Step-by-Step Guide

How to deposit Bitcoin on BetOnline: minimum, fees, confirmation steps, withdrawal rules and the current welcome offer, checked against BetOnline's own pages Oct 21, 2026.

An infographic sequence on multiple smartphones showing the BetOnline Bitcoin deposit process, from scanning the QR code in the app to the 'Deposit Successful' confirmation screen, set against a digital crypto background with floating sports icons.

You can deposit Bitcoin at BetOnline in about five minutes: pick a coin in the cashier, send it to the address BetOnline shows you, and wait for the blockchain to confirm. BetOnline says crypto deposits are fee-free, and the cashier lists a $10 minimum.

I checked the numbers below against BetOnline’s own banking and help pages on October 21, 2026. BetOnline can change limits and fees without notice, so confirm them in your cashier before you send anything. New to coins? Start with how Bitcoin sports betting works.

How do you deposit Bitcoin on BetOnline step by step?

  1. Open the cashier. Log in and choose Deposit.
  2. Pick your coin and amount. Bitcoin is the simplest. BetOnline also lists Litecoin, Ethereum, Tether and Solana, among others.
  3. Scan the QR code or copy the address. I paste it rather than type it. One wrong character can send your money to the wrong place.
  4. Send the coins from your wallet or exchange. Enter the amount, paste the address and confirm.
  5. Wait for confirmations. BetOnline says funds show up once the required blockchain confirmations arrive, usually within minutes.

BetOnline tells you to use each generated address once, so make a fresh one for every deposit. Its crypto tutorial walks through buying and storing coins if you need that first. For a different book, here is how a Bovada Bitcoin deposit works.

Why does crypto beat a card at BetOnline?

BetOnline states that card deposits carry processing fees that depend on the amount, the card and your VIP level, and that those fees are not refundable. It points to crypto as a fee-free option. The only cost left is the network fee your wallet or exchange charges when it sends the coins. That fee depends on the coin and how busy the network is, so I will not quote a fixed number.

What do you need to know before you withdraw?

  • BetOnline says every deposit must be wagered once (1x) before you can withdraw.
  • It can ask for a photo ID, proof of address or other documents before paying out. Sending those early saves time.
  • You cannot request a withdrawal while a free bet is pending.
  • Third-party withdrawals are not allowed.
  • BetOnline says it aims to process requests within 24 hours. Your own wallet or exchange may add its own wait.

What is BetOnline’s current welcome offer?

BetOnline’s “No Strings” welcome offer gives new customers 50% of their first deposit back as free bet credit, up to $250, plus 100 free spins. You need to deposit at least $10. The offer is for people in North America only, and it is one per person, household, address, IP address, device and payment method.

  • The free bet works only in the sportsbook, at odds of -200 (1.50) or higher.
  • Free bet credit expires after 30 days. If you win, you get the winnings, not the stake back.
  • The free spins come as 10 a day for 10 days, and winnings from them are capped at $100.
  • BetOnline’s terms bar betting both sides, hedging against another operator, and using a VPN or proxy to get around location checks.

A worked example. Say you deposit $100 in Bitcoin. You would get $50 in free bet credit. Use it on a +100 bet and a win pays $50 into your cash balance. The $50 stake itself is not returned. Separately, the $100 you deposited must be wagered once before you can withdraw. The numbers are made up for illustration. The rules come from BetOnline’s terms. I would treat the free bet as a small bonus, not a reason to deposit.

Bonus offers change often. Read the live terms on BetOnline before you claim. Our bonus terms explainer covers what rollover and free bet wording usually means.

What if your Bitcoin deposit does not show up?

  • Check the confirmations. Paste your transaction ID into a block explorer such as mempool.space. Busy times can slow confirmations.
  • Check the network. For coins that run on more than one network, such as USDT, send on the network the cashier shows. The wrong one can lose your money.
  • Check the amount. Anything under the minimum listed for that method may not credit.
  • Check your exchange. Some exchanges hold new withdrawals for a security review.
  • Contact BetOnline. Use live chat, or call the cashier line at 1-888-426-3661, with your transaction ID ready.

It also says wagering laws differ by country and state and that you should check your local rules. Our state-by-state offshore betting guide explains where things stand. Don’t use a VPN.
