Who Are the Biggest Online Poker Winners Right Now? The 2026 Cash Game Leaderboard

The biggest online poker cash game winner of the last six years is a WPT Global player called huangyangliu, who is up $5.31 million, and the second-biggest winner plays on WPT Global too.

That comes from a huge new dataset. It covers 2.6 billion hands across five online poker rooms. It is the first time anyone has measured these rooms side by side, the same way. The results say a lot about who wins, how they win, and which room gives regular players the best shot.

Where Does This Poker Data Come From?

The numbers come from AceGuardian’s Industry Ecology Report. It is built by QuintAce, a poker training company. The report tracks No Limit Hold’em cash games. No Limit Hold’em (NLHE) is the most popular form of poker. A cash game is a regular table where chips equal real money, and you can leave any time. That is different from a tournament.

The report covers five rooms: WPT Global, GGPoker, CoinPoker, WPN/ACR, and PokerStars. It runs from September 2020 to September 2026.

The data comes in two types. WPT Global handed over its own complete records. For the other four rooms, the researchers bought large samples of hand histories. Those samples start at $0.50/$1 stakes and go up. Keep that in mind when comparing rooms.

All winnings are counted after rake. Rake is the small cut the poker room takes from each pot. It is how the room makes money. Rewards and rakeback (cash the room pays back to players) are not included.

Who Are the Top 10 Online Poker Cash Game Winners?

Here is the top 10 across all five rooms, ranked by money won. The full top 25 is on the QuintAce leaderboard.

A few terms first. Stakes are shown as small blind/big blind. The blinds are the forced bets that start each hand. So $25/$50 means a $25 small blind and a $50 big blind. bb/100 means big blinds won per 100 hands. It is the standard way to measure a win rate. Heads-up means only two players at the table.

Three rooms own this top 10. WPT Global takes three spots, including the top two. GGPoker takes four. CoinPoker takes two, and WPN/ACR takes one.

The full top 25 won $39,618,730 combined over 5,995,486 hands.

How Did huangyangliu Win $5.31 Million?

huangyangliu played a ton. They logged 702,743 hands over 817 active days. That works out to about 860 hands a day. Their first hand in the data was April 1, 2023.

They made $2.89 million in heads-up games and $2.42 million at full tables. Their main game was WPT Global’s ¥50/¥100/¥200 table. WPT Global runs many games in Chinese yuan. The report converts yuan to dollars at about $0.14 per yuan.

Here is the wild part. About 60% of huangyangliu’s total came from one opponent. They won $3.2 million across 32,830 heads-up hands against a single player. Against the other 1,020 players they met heads-up, they lost about $310,000 combined.

So the biggest winner in the data is a grinder with a huge edge on one rival. Take that one matchup away, and the story looks very different.

How Did the Other Top Winners Get There?

There is no single path to the top. The leaderboard shows three very different ways to win big.

Can You Win Big by Playing Very High Stakes?

Yes, if you have the bankroll and the nerve. KayhanMok on CoinPoker is the clearest case. They played only about a tenth as many hands as huangyangliu. But they won $32.38 per hand.

KayhanMok played 95.7% of their hands heads-up. Their main stake was $100/$200. They made $1.99 million of their $2.31 million in heads-up play.

Their biggest day was January 16, 2026. They won $1,199,300 in just 47 hands at $2,500/$5,000. That is one of the biggest single days in the whole dataset.

M Leikkonen on GGPoker went even further on a per-hand basis. They made $39.11 a hand, the top rate in the data, mostly at $200/$400.

Can You Win Big at Full Tables?

Yes. TyCobb7 won $2.06 million on WPT Global. Only $7,269 of that came from heads-up play. The rest came from ring games. A ring game is a table with three or more players.

biglucky88 is similar. They made $2.02 million of their $2.46 million at full tables. Kevin Paque, seventh overall, made $1.65 million of his $1.75 million at full tables on GGPoker.

That matters for regular players. Most of us play at full tables, not in private heads-up matches.

Can You Win Big Just by Playing a Lot?

Volume helps, but it is not enough on its own. One PokerStars player, M4D_T1LT, played 1,062,026 hands. They made about $0.28 a hand.

huangyangliu breaks the pattern. They played huge volume and still made $7.55 a hand. That combo is what put them on top.

Who Are the Biggest Online Poker Winners of 2026 So Far?

The all-time list covers six years. The 2026 list shows who is hot right now. It comes from a companion report, Where High-Stakes Hold’em Went.

This list only covers ACR, CoinPoker, and WPT Global. ACR and CoinPoker figures run January to August 2026. WPT Global figures run to July 27 and only count hands with four or more players. The two reports use different windows and filters, so the numbers will not match the all-time list exactly.

CoinPoker dominates 2026. It holds 7 of the top 10 spots. That is because it now runs the biggest public games online. In January 2026 it ran $2,500/$5,000, the highest public stakes in the data.

TyCobb7 is the one WPT Global name in the 2026 top 10. They did it almost entirely at full tables. Only 3.1% of their 2026 hands were heads-up. Compare that to 87.5% for KayhanMok.

Which Poker Room Has the Most Winning Players?

WPT Global, by a clear margin. 33.7% of its players finished in profit. That is about one in three.

In the other four rooms, the share of winners ran from 21.5% to 25.0%. That is closer to one in four or one in five.

Here is the WPT Global picture in plain numbers. The room had 326,206 players. Of those, 110,041 finished in profit. Together they won $317,974,015.

One caveat. WPT Global’s figure comes from its complete records. The other rooms’ figures come from samples that start at $0.50/$1. Small-stakes players in those rooms may not be fully counted. Still, the gap is large.

Which Poker Room Spreads Its Winnings Most Evenly?

WPT Global again. Its top 25 winners hold just 8.16% of all the money won in the room. The other 110,016 winners share the rest.

Here is how every room compares. Each number is the share of all winnings held by that room’s top 25.

On CoinPoker, 25 players hold more than half of everything won. That makes sense for a young room with a few giant games at the top. CoinPoker’s first hands in the data are from December 31, 2024. The report says that concentration may ease as the room grows.

On WPT Global, the money is spread across far more people. Yet it still takes $556,158 to crack the room’s top 25. That is the highest cutoff of any room.

Why Do WPT Global Players Post Such High Win Rates?

WPT Global players hold nine of the top ten win rates in the data. This ranking counts players with at least 50,000 hands from each room’s top 25 list. Only Vanessa18 on CoinPoker, at 26.35 bb/100, ranks above them.

Part of the reason is the game format. Most standard poker games use two blinds. WPT Global’s main games add a straddle and an ante. A straddle is a third forced bet, usually double the big blind. An ante is a small bet every player puts in before the cards are dealt.

That means more money is in the pot before anyone acts. At the stakes most top WPT Global players use, a hand starts with about 7 big blinds in the middle. A standard two-blind game starts with 1.5. More money in the pot means more to win on every hand.

To keep things fair, the report adjusts WPT Global win rates. A straddled hand counts at twice the posted big blind. Even after that adjustment, WPT Global players still take nine of the top ten spots.

For example, TyCobb7’s raw win rate is 32.83 bb/100. Adjusted, it is 16.39. We will break down the straddle format in detail later in this series.

Do the Biggest Poker Winners Depend on a Few Lucky Days?

It depends on the room. The researchers took away each player’s five best days and looked at what was left.

WPT Global’s top 25 are the steadiest. Remove their five best days, and not one of them drops below zero. For the typical player on that list, those five days were only 27.3% of their total. They built their results over hundreds of days. The median player had 623 active days.

CoinPoker is the opposite. Without their five best days, 15 of its top 25 would be losing players. For the typical player there, the five best days were worth 106.6% of their total. In other words, everything outside those days was a loss.

That is variance at work. Variance is the natural up and down of results from luck. Big stakes and heads-up play make the swings much bigger.

Do the Biggest Winners Ever Have Losing Days?

All the time. Across all five rooms, 43% to 47% of the top 25’s active days were losing days.

Let that sink in. The best-performing players in six years of data lose almost half the days they play. They win because their good days are bigger than their bad days, and they keep showing up.

What Can Recreational Players Learn from the Leaderboard?

You are not going to play $2,500/$5,000 heads-up. Neither are we. But this data still has real lessons for anyone playing $0.50/$1 on a Tuesday night.

Room choice matters. The share of winning players ranged from 21.5% to 33.7% across rooms. That is a big gap. Where you sit down changes your odds before you look at a single card.

Expect swings. The top winners lose 43% to 47% of their days. A bad week does not mean you are a bad player. A good week does not mean you are a great one.

Full tables can pay. TyCobb7 and biglucky88 made millions mostly at ring games. You do not need to hunt heads-up whales to win.

Do not chase the headline number. The report itself says none of these rankings tells us who the best poker player is. Opponent quality, game choice, rake, table size, and luck all shape results.

Which Online Poker Room Should You Try?

Based on this data, WPT Global has the best numbers for recreational players. It has the highest share of winning players. It spreads its winnings most evenly. And its top players win steadily rather than on a few lucky days.

Its straddle-and-ante format also means bigger pots from the start. That makes for more action on every hand.
