Following a dry spell for new sponsorship agreements between cryptocurrency exchanges and major Brazilian esports organizations, INTZ has signed a crypto sponsorship deal with Mercado Bitcoin.

The move means Mercado’s logo will feature prominently on the INTZ jersey at their upcoming tournaments. In addition to appearing on activations and social media, the hired influencers will be tasked with promoting the partnership to their substantial following on respective networks.

With the help of DRUID Creative Gaming, a B2G (business-to-gaming) marketing company negotiates agreements on behalf of businesses and gamers. The one-year contract reached is aimed at increasing brand awareness in the esports industry. And if the Brazilian Counter-Strike Circuit (CBCS) 2021 sponsorship is anything to go by, Mercado Bitcoin may have just landed itself a spot in the country’s top-tier esports league.

According to Lucas Almeida, Co-Founder of INTZ, INTZ’s newly-signed influencers. They will work with Mercado Bitcoin on marketing initiatives to intensify their effort in promoting diversity and inclusion.

After a period of hesitation, the Brazilian market has reversed course on its previously retracting stance on crypto broker deals. For instance, a contract between FURIA and FTX was terminated due to the broker’s bankruptcy. Bitpreço did not renew its naming rights contract with Rensga Esports after it expired in June 2022. A similar deal between Los Grandes and Bitso dissolved when the esports organization parted ways with its cryptocurrency partner. However, the ongoing deal between MIBR and Bybit appears to be in good health. Even 7 months after they formally signed it.

So far, INTZ has won five Brazilian CBLOL championships. Recently though, it has become a supporting player in a competitive landscape. So, through their new partnership with Mercado Bitcoin raises expectations. They thought INTZ will be able to rise to prominence in 2023 as a top contender for the esport crown.

As per the agreement reached following the contract with FTX for LCS 2021, Riot Games will not impose any limits on INTZ’s promotion of Mercado Bitcoin on CBLOL.
