Offshore Sportsbook Payout Speed Comparison (2026)

What BetOnline, Bovada, MyBookie, BetUS, BetNow, SportsBetting.ag and XBet publish about payout speed, limits, fees and verification, with where the books contradict themselves.

Home » Offshore Sportsbook Payout Speed Comparison (2026)

Offshore sportsbooks publish crypto payout windows of roughly 24 to 48 hours and check or wire timing of about 5 to 15 business days. Those are the numbers on each book’s own help pages, and a few books publish no numbers at all. This page lays those published figures side by side for seven books, shows where the books contradict themselves, and explains why the real wait is usually approval and verification, not the blockchain. DailyWagerZone did not test a withdrawal for this page, so every number is what a book says, not what we measured.

By Jake Mercer, Lead Sports Betting Analyst. Last updated: October 15, 2026.

The Quick Version

  • Crypto is the fastest published route. BetOnline says within 24 hours. Bovada says about 24 hours to approve, then up to 24 hours for Bitcoin or up to 1 hour for coins like Litecoin. MyBookie says up to 24 hours to review plus up to 24 hours to deliver. BetUS says 24 to 48 hours after approval.
  • Checks and wires are slow and cost money. Published timing runs from 5 to 15 business days. Published fees include $100 for a Bovada check, $50 or 3% for a BetOnline check, and $35 to $60 for wires at books that list them.
  • The slow part is rarely the blockchain. Approval queues, ID checks, 1x rollover, card-deposit holds and weekday-only banking hours cause most delays.
  • Two books contradict their own pages. MyBookie and BetUS each publish more than one timing on different pages. We show both and do not pick a winner.
  • Our take: published speed is a promise from the company holding your money. Finish ID verification before you win, use crypto, and request on a weekday morning Eastern time.

DisclosureThis page links to BetOnline, Bovada, MyBookie, BetUS, BetNow, SportsBetting.ag and XBet through affiliate links. DWZ may earn a commission at no cost to you. Affiliate status did not change any figure on this page. Offshore sportsbooks are not licensed by U.S. states.

Which offshore sportsbooks are in this payout comparison?

We compared seven sportsbook brands from DWZ’s affiliate list that publish banking terms and whose own terms do not bar U.S. residents as a group: BetOnline, Bovada, MyBookie, BetUS, BetNow, SportsBetting.ag and XBet. None is licensed by a U.S. state. Bovada and BetNow name U.S. states they block, so your state decides whether you can sign up at all.

What do the books say about U.S. players?

Here is what each book’s own terms or help pages say about U.S. access, read on October 15, 2026. Where a page publishes no state list, the cell says so.

SportsbookWhat its own pages say about U.S. access
BetOnlineIts terms say it “currently restricts play only from” a list of countries and territories. No U.S. state is on the list. Source: BetOnline Terms and Conditions.
BovadaSays it is “open to United States residents,” except people in 19 states and Washington, D.C.: Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont and West Virginia. Source: Bovada restricted-locations page.
MyBookiePublishes no state list in the rules we read. Its payout rules mention text-message checks that are “US only,” and its pages say you must be 21 or older and in a legal jurisdiction. State access: not published; check current terms.
BetUSIts terms bar residents of a list of countries. The U.S. is not on it. The same terms say its welcome packages are “only available to certain states within the United States.” Source: BetUS Terms and Conditions.
BetNowIts terms list New Jersey as the only restricted U.S. state. Source: BetNow Terms and Conditions.
SportsBetting.agIts terms refer to restricted states and countries but the page we read publishes no list. State access: not published; check current terms.
XBetIts terms list countries that cannot open accounts. The U.S. is not on the list, and no U.S. state list is published. Source: XBet Terms and Conditions.

Being allowed to sign up is not the same as being legal where you live. Offshore sportsbooks are not licensed by any state, and a book’s terms can change without notice.

Editor’s Note on method. Every figure below comes from a book’s own help or terms page opened on October 15, 2026, or is simple arithmetic on those figures, shown in the text. When a page gives no number, the cell says “not published; check current terms.” We left out other affiliate-list books because we did not finish a verified read of their payout terms for this update.

How fast does each book say crypto payouts are?

Here are the published crypto numbers, book by book. A published window is the time range the book itself states. A minimum is the smallest payout the book allows. A maximum is the biggest single payout or per-week amount it allows.

Three details change how to read that table. First, BetOnline lists Bitcoin as free, but its separate crypto fee page says withdrawals to some customer-controlled addresses carry network fees that vary with congestion. Read the fee in the cashier before you confirm. Second, Bovada says Bitcoin requests above $9,500 are sent in pieces every 3 days. Third, MyBookie’s banking page says verified payouts process “within 48 hours,” while its rules table says up to 24 hours to review and up to 24 hours to deliver. Both can be true. Neither says what happens on a busy Friday.

The chart above adds each book’s published approval and delivery windows. That addition is ours. BetOnline publishes one 24-hour window, so we show it as one bar. BetUS publishes only the post-approval window, so its approval time stays blank. BetNow and XBet publish no crypto split, so they are not charted.

How do cards, checks and wires compare on timing, limits and fees?

Cash-out options differ by book, and some books do not pay out by card at all. This grid shows what the five biggest books publish for each method. A dash in a book’s card row means that book does not list card withdrawals among its payout methods.

About $100 to about $5,000 or more. Fees vary by method.Bank wire and ACH are listed. Fees depend on amount. Timing and limits: not published; check current terms.

SportsBetting.ag’s help page shows the same fiat schedule as BetOnline’s: wires of $2,500 to $25,000 within 15 business days, checks by courier of $500 to $2,500 within 7 business days, and person-to-person payouts of $50 to $400 within 5 business days. XBet’s banking page publishes no per-method timing or limits beyond its 48-hour line for verified customers. For both, check the cashier for your account’s live numbers.

BetUS needs its own warning. Its limits article (May 15, 2026) lists crypto at 24 to 48 hours after approval. Its payout-request article (May 11, 2026) says delivery times can vary but are “generally between 3 and 10 business days,” and that e-wallets are usually done within 24 hours. Those two pages do not match, and neither gives the approval time. Our existing BetUS payout timing page covers that book separately.

What does it cost to cash out $2,000?

Fees are where fiat loses. Using only the published fee schedules, here is what each method costs to cash out $2,000. The BetOnline check fee is 3% of $2,000, which is $60. The BetOnline Tether fee falls in its $1,000-to-$5,000 tier, which is $5.

Bar chart of published fees to cash out 2,000 dollars: crypto at BetOnline, Bovada and MyBookie 0 dollars, BetOnline Tether 5, MyBookie wire 50, BetOnline check 60, Bovada check 100

The books charge $0 on crypto, but your wallet, the network and any exchange you use can still charge. Bovada says that outright. A $2,000 payout also fits inside Bovada’s $3,000 check limit and MyBookie’s $5,000 wire limit, but it falls under BetOnline’s $2,500 wire minimum, so BetOnline wire is not an option at that amount.

What do first-withdrawal verification rules look like?

KYC means “know your customer,” the ID check a book runs before it pays you. Every book here reserves the right to ask for documents. Here is what each one publishes:

SportsbookWhat the book says it can ask forWhat else it says
BetOnlinePhoto ID, front and back of every card used to deposit, an address document, and anything else it deems necessary.Rejected requests show a reason under “Comments.” Funds you deposited must be wagered 1x first.
BovadaA Credit Card Verification Form for each card used to fund the account, even for Bitcoin withdrawals. Other documents may be requested.A text-message code confirms each request. Bovada says its staff will never give you wallet or bank details.
MyBookieIdentity verification at least once, by ID documents or a U.S. text-message code. Card copies may be requested. You do not need to send documents ahead of time, unless the security team asks. Withdrawals go only to the account holder.
BetUSFront and back of credit cards used, a signed government ID, and a card-plus-state-ID photo with all four corners visible.Once documents are verified, they do not need to be sent again unless they expire.
BetNowA government photo ID. A proof of address no older than three months may be requested.Verification is “typically completed within minutes,” but a deeper review can take longer. It must finish before a withdrawal can be processed.
SportsBetting.agSame list as BetOnline.Same 1x deposit rollover and card-deposit waits as BetOnline.
XBet“Document verification may delay withdrawing funds, if required.”No document list: not published; check current terms.

Why are offshore payouts slow? The three clocks

Most “payout speed” talk mixes three different timers. Here is our framework. Split any payout into three clocks and you can see which one you control.

  1. The approval clock. This is the queue and manual review before the book releases money. Bovada says requests are reviewed first-come, first-served and take “approximately 24-48 hours to be reviewed,” with Bitcoin about 24 hours. MyBookie says its rules table review window is up to 24 hours for crypto and 1 to 2 days for wires.
  2. The hold clock. This is a waiting period tied to how you deposited. BetOnline says a minimum 3-calendar-day wait may apply after card deposits and 7 business days after an e-check. BetUS places a 72-hour hold on payouts after a card deposit. MyBookie cannot process a withdrawal while a deposit is pending, and settlement can take 5 to 7 business days. Bovada does not process Bitcoin withdrawals until all deposits are confirmed. Rollover also lives here: BetOnline, MyBookie, BetUS and Bovada all require deposits to be wagered at least once.
  3. The delivery clock. This is network or banking time. Bovada says network congestion can delay crypto and push fees up. BetOnline says certain methods run Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Eastern, excluding holidays. MyBookie sends payouts Monday through Friday during banking hours, and treats a request submitted after 2 p.m. Eastern as the next day’s submission. BetNow says some methods are handled the next business day.

Worked example, our reading of the published rules. Say you request a MyBookie Bitcoin payout at 3 p.m. Eastern on a Friday. Under the rules above, that counts as the next day’s submission, and payouts go out only Monday through Friday. So review likely starts Monday. Add the published “up to 24 hours” review and “up to 24 hours” delivery, and the money could land as late as Wednesday. This is arithmetic on stated rules, not a measured result. The same request at 10 a.m. on a Tuesday has a shorter published path.

That is why the weekend matters even for crypto. A blockchain runs all weekend. A compliance team may not. Also note that BetOnline says its crypto frequency is unlimited, while MyBookie allows one withdrawal per method per week and Bovada allows one crypto request every 15 minutes. If a request is rejected for missing rollover or documents, you will likely have to submit a new one.

What should you check before your first withdrawal?

  1. Finish verification early. Upload the documents the book lists before you win, not after.
  2. Match names. BetOnline and MyBookie both say withdrawals go only to the account holder, with no third-party payouts.
  3. Check your rollover. The books here require deposited funds to be wagered at least 1x. Bonuses add more. Read our guide to how bonus wagering requirements work before taking one.
  4. Wait out card holds. If you deposited by card, a 3-calendar-day wait (BetOnline) or 72-hour hold (BetUS) may apply.
  5. Pick the coin by its limits. Bovada caps Ethereum and USDT at $2,500 per request but Litecoin and Bitcoin at $9,500. Check the cashier’s live limit for your account.
  6. Copy and paste the wallet address. Crypto transactions are irreversible, so an address typo can mean the funds are gone (Bitcoin.org FAQ).
  7. Request on a weekday morning Eastern. That beats MyBookie’s 2 p.m. cutoff and the Monday-to-Friday banking windows.
  8. Know the frequency caps. Examples: Bovada check 1 per 7 days, Bovada wire 1 per 30 days, BetOnline wire and check 1 per week.
  9. Save the confirmation. Screenshot the reference number or email. Bovada shows a unique reference number on its confirmation screen.
  10. Know when to escalate. MyBookie says if you have not received Bitcoin three business days after your request, email its payouts team with your wallet address.

Our take: which book is best for payout speed?

On published numbers alone, BetOnline and its look-alike help table at SportsBetting.ag publish the tightest crypto story: one 24-hour window, no stated Bitcoin maximum and a free Bitcoin payout. Bovada publishes the most detail, including a 1-hour delivery window for several coins, but it adds about 24 hours of approval and caps Bitcoin requests at $9,500. MyBookie and BetUS contradict themselves, which makes them harder to plan around. BetNow publishes the least.

Here is the position we would defend: choose the book whose payout rules you can read in full before you deposit, then plan around the slowest published step, not the fastest. A book that publishes a clear 48-hour ceiling beats one that promises “fast” and posts no number. This ranking is about transparency of published terms. It is not a speed test, because we did not run withdrawals. For deeper coverage, see our pages on offshore crypto payout speeds, Bitcoin payout rankings and crypto withdrawals at BetOnline, Bovada and MyBookie. If a number on one of those pages differs from a book’s current help page, trust the help page.

What are the real risks of withdrawing from an offshore sportsbook?

Honest answer: your payout is only as safe as the company’s promise. The FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center said on December 17, 2025 that offshore sportsbooks “are not held to the same legal standards as U.S. licensed sportsbooks and may lack consumer protections,” and told bettors to check the laws that apply to them. Our full guide to the risks of offshore sportsbooks covers this in detail.

  • No U.S. regulator will back you up. The Michigan Gaming Control Board said on October 8, 2026 that it has “no recourse” for players if winnings are withheld or an account is closed on an unlicensed site.
  • States are acting. On May 30, 2024 the board sent a cease-and-desist letter to Harp Media B.V., the company it named as running Bovada. Legal status differs by state, so check yours.
  • Terms can change. BetOnline, SportsBetting.ag and MyBookie each say limits, methods or fees can change without prior notice. A number you read today can be gone tomorrow.
  • Crypto is final. A wrong address or a scam message cannot be reversed. Bovada warns that its staff will never give you wallet addresses or banking details.
  • Winnings are still taxable. IRS Topic No. 419 says gambling winnings are fully taxable and must be reported even without a Form W-2G. Our crypto sports betting tax page walks through it, and this is not tax advice.

Bet only what you can afford to lose, and do not leave large balances sitting at any offshore book. You must be 21 or older. If gambling is causing problems, call 1-800-GAMBLER for free, confidential help.
